workforce development logoAtlantic Cape’s Center for Workforce Development (CWD) offers a wide range of continuing education and training programs to meet meet the needs of individuals and businesses in Atlantic and Cape May counties and surrounding regions. Partnerships with local business and industry help to ensure that industry needs for skilled workers and their employee’s needs for enhanced skills are being met simultaneously. Many professional development programs offered by the CWD fulfill CPE and CEU requirements. Programs include: Adult Basic Skills/Literacy, Career Training Certificate Programs, Casino Career Institute, Institute for Service Excellence, Health Professions Institute, and Professional Development and Personal Enrichment. Atlantic couty WDB logoThe Atlantic County Workforce Development Board has established partnerships with local businesses, community organizations, educational institutions and government agencies to provide a seamless system of employment, training and social services to residents and employers in Atlantic county.

The Board is comprised of representatives from Atlantic County. The private sector represents over half of the membership, which provides for a diverse membership drawn from the community.

The WDB has established partnerships with local businesses, community and faith-based organizations, educational institutions and government agencies to plan for a seamless system of services that benefit residents and the business community. Image of Stockton logoThe Office of Continuing Studies at Stockton University recognizes the importance of lifelong learning to the economic self-sufficiency of the region’s residents and the economic viability of its businesses.  We collaborate with the Atlantic and Cape May County One-Stop system through our ‘Job Development’ and ‘To Work’ programs.  Our ‘To Work’ program provides participants with an opportunity to develop marketable skills that lead to sustainable, unsubsidized employment.
