In celebration of Black History Month, the Student Activities Department presents The African American Heritage Museum of Southern Jersey will present a pictorial display of historical artifacts documenting the history of African Americans during the life and times of Martin Luther King and the Civil Rights Movement. Adjunct Professor of English Turiya S.A. Raheem will present a DVD based on Growing Up in the Other Atlantic City. Professor Raheem will tell her story of growing up in Atlantic City and the African American community. From the 1920's-1970's she paints a picture of a vibrant, high-functioning, close knit community that supported and shared in the success of Atlantic City as a thriving resort.

The musicians of Ewabo utilize their experiences to entertain, astound and educate audiences on the potpourri of Caribbean culture. Come out and Welcome Dr. Barbara Gaba, meet and greet the college's ninth President.
