Computer Security

The Computer Security Certificate provides students with an opportunity to learn and develop expertise in safeguarding computers. Computer security specialists plan, coordinate and implement security measures for information systems. Individuals completing the courses will be prepared to develop plans for security, promote security awareness, perform risk assessments and document security solutions. The certificate is designed to prepare students for the CompTIA Security+ industry certification exam. Credits earned may be applied to the Computer Systems Support. Associate in Applied Science degree.
