Atlantic Cape Community College is hosting the following events during the month of April:

April 5, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.: Atlantic Cape will host its annual Career Fair 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, in the new Student Center (Building G) of the Mays Landing Campus. Come and meet employers from South Jersey and surrounding areas as they look for employees for seasonal, part-time and full-time employment. April 8, 1-3 p.m.: A fall registration open house will be held 1-3 p.m., April 8, to provide information for those looking to earn their degree, begin a new career or enhance job skills, in the new Student Center (Building G) of the Mays Landing Campus. The Academy of Culinary Arts will also host an open house during these hours for anyone interested in learning about the culinary and baking programs offered by the ACA. Registration for the April 8 open house is required at http://www.atlantic.edu/openhouse.

April 10, 11: Free Hands-On FAFSA sessions being offered from 2-3:30 p.m., April 10, and 5-6:30 p.m., April 11, to help in completing a 2018-19 Free Application for Federal Student Aid in Room D202 of the Mays Landing Campus. Registration is required, and students may register and obtain more information by calling 609-343-4822 or by sending an email to dhernand@atlantic.edu.

April 18, 12:30 p.m.: 35th annual Holocaust Awareness Program, sponsored by Atlantic Cape Community College and The Sara and Sam Schoffer Holocaust Resource Center at Stockton University, presents Alexandra Zapruder, author of Salvaged Pages: Young Writers’ Diaries of the Holocaust, at 12:30 p.m., April 18, in Room C3 of Atlantic Cape’s Mays Landing Campus. April 18, 5:30-7 p.m.: A Health Career Planning Session will be held 5:30-7 p.m., April 18, in Room C3 of the Mays Landing Campus. This session will review regional training and career options, explore employment and educational opportunities, and provide information about entry-level positions through advanced technical training and degree programs. Students interested in Radiologic Technology, Biomedical Science, Health Science, and/or Nursing are encouraged to attend, as well as those entering the career ladder with certificate training programs offered at the Health Professions Institute through the college’s Workforce Development department. April 24, noon-1 p.m.: Mid Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC) Lunch and Learn program “Music and Memories of Frank Sinatra” presented by Rich Chiemingo, noon-1 p.m., April 24, at the Cape May County Campus. Cost is free to MAC members and Atlantic Cape students and $5 for the general public.

April 28, 1-3 p.m.: A closing reception for the “Celebrate Atlantic Cape 2018!” art exhibit will be held from 1-3 p.m., April 28, at the gallery located in D Building of the Mays Landing Campus.
