Atlantic Cape Community College will offer two new gardening workshops this spring that will meet 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on the Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike. The first six-hour workshop, Planting: A Feast for the Eyes, will meet on two Fridays, March 31 and April 7. The second workshop, Planting: A Feast for the Palate, will meet on two Fridays, April 21 and 28. The fee for each workshop is $69.

In Planting: A Feast for the Eyes, participants will discover the basics of creating a dazzling flower garden awash in color, designed to delight and soothe the senses. The workshop will cover garden design, soil preparation and implementation.

In Planting: A Feast for the Palate, participants will learn how to cultivate a new garden of fruits and vegetables and how to expand a current garden. The workshop will cover growing a culinary buffet of farm-fresh food for your table or as gifts for family and friends. Each workshop will include enjoyable and rewarding homework assignments.
