PT STEM Program Assistant

Salary: $15 per hour
  • Reports to the Dean, STEM Programs
  • Assists the Dean in wide variety of activities in carrying out the functions and responsibilities of the office
  • Assists the Dean in office management, including clerical and secretarial tasks
  • Schedules meetings, makes travel arrangements
  • Operates independently and exercises judgment when executing oral and written instructions from the Dean
  • Develops and maintains efficient record-keeping and filing systems
  • Processes requisitions, purchase orders and expense vouchers
  • Prepares reports, letters and memos
  • Assists faculty in inputting data into the college-wide Google assessment sites
  • Provides administrative support to dean in maintaining files, documentation, and organization of program reviews and program accreditation initiatives
  • Performs related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Associate’s degree .
  • Experience working in an education/administrative setting. 
  • Computer literacy to include Microsoft Office products.
  • Demonstrated administrative skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational and clerical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
This position requires occasional flexible scheduling to include evenings and weekends and duties at any Atlantic Cape location.
