|Duties:||Reports to the Director of Admissions and College Recruitment; seeks recruitment opportunities supporting college enrollment goals and showcasing all Atlantic Cape programs; assists Director in developing, coordinating and
implementing recruitment programs including, but not limited to high school students, information to guidance and instructional personnel, college tours, relationships between the College and its sending high schools through Jump Start and other programs, underserved populations, contacts with community leaders, links between the College
faculty and staff and community centers, and campus programs to attract minorities, business and industry personnel, including local business and industries, cooperative programs, and links between the College faculty and staff with
business and industry personnel, non-traditional and adult populations, including local libraries, civic religious organizations, open houses and general information programs, ACA open houses, and follow-up calls and emails to inquiries/applicants, including the use of culinary faculty and alumni, off-site college fairs and community events, and
other populations; provides admissions advice to prospective applicants and assists students in completing forms for admissions and registration; works with Admissions staff to provide detailed recruitment activity reports; monitors the
acquisition and replacement of recruitment supplies, marketing materials and equipment; arranges transportation of recruitment materials; works with other departments in the development of recruitment programs; monitors and makes
recommendations for Admissions and Recruitment budget through the Director; works with the culinary recruiter, assisting in designing and implementing the culinary recruitment program using demographic profiles to support the Academy of Culinary Arts (ACA) enrollment goals; visits high schools, culinary shows, college fairs, community events and other potential recruitment locations to inform the public about the offerings of the ACA; along with the Dean of the ACA, assists at ACA Open Houses and other programs for prospective culinary students; promotes articulation agreements with regional vocational schools; seeks recruitment opportunities to increase minority or underserved populations within the ACA; provides Admissions counseling to prospective applicants and assists students in completing forms necessary for admission and enrollment; coordinates recruitment efforts with ACA faculty members and alumni; qualifies inquiries and makes follow-up contact by phone, direct mail and/or email; maintains appropriate records in documenting student contacts and provides the Admissions Office with timely reports; prepares recruitment reports as requested; other duties as assigned.
|Minimum Requirements:||Bachelorís degree. One to three years experience in college admissions or recruitment. Knowledge |
of Ellucianís Colleague preferred. Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Superb customer service skills.
