Office Assistant, Office of the President and Board of Trustees

Salary: $30,036
Duties: Reports to the Chief of Staff to the President; serves as a receptionist for the Office of the President; assists the President and Chief of Staff in a wide variety of activities including event planning, calendar management, secretarial and clerical tasks; distributes materials and other communications on behalf of the President; schedules meetings and maintains meeting records; maintains calendar for Presidentís conference room; processes requisitions, purchase orders, travel advance/reimbursements, expense vouchers, etc.; maintains institutional check and donor communication logs; maintains multimedia file of Presidentís Office activities; develops and maintains efficient record keeping, filing systems and supply inventory; answers incoming phone calls/inquiries for the Office of the President; opens and distributes incoming mail; assists with customer service needs; provides assistance and support to the Administrative Assistant; maintains confidentiality regarding communication and records; other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:High School Diploma or GED; Associateís degree preferred. Two years
experience working in a professional office setting. Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
 Note: This position requires flexible scheduling to include evenings and weekends and duties at any Atlantic Cape location.
