PT Student Development Advisor (CMCC)

||$15 per hour
||Reports to the Assistant Director of Student Services, CMCC; Assists new and returning students, on a walk-in basis, by providing services and information regarding advisement, curriculum, registration, special programs and activities; provides transfer information; assists the assistant director in preparing reports; participates in the Jump Start program; maintains note taking and college work-study time sheets and works closely with the coordinator of those programs for eligible students; presents Student Development workshops; answers telephones and provides support for front desk; assists in student activities and other programs; related duties as assigned.
|Minimum Requirements:||Associate’s degree. Computer literacy to include Microsoft Office products. Strong communication and organizational skills. Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of a diverse student population. Ability to work occasional evenings/travel to other sites as necessary. |
