Office Coordinator, CMCC Support Services

|Duties:||Reports to the Director, CMCC Support Services; in collaboration with WACC and ML scheduling services, coordinates comprehensive CMCC conferences, meetings and event planning service implementation; ensures conference and meeting orders and specifications are carried out for scheduled events; inspects all classroom and meeting spaces on a weekly basis to produce facility and other work orders; refers potential conferencing requests to scheduling and ensures follow up services; creates signage and directional support services to CMCC meetings; monitors functions, as necessary and at various times, on-site; ensures excellence in a team approach to customer service for all who need support; assists in planning, budgeting and assessment of CMCC services; helps schedule, follows up and implements orientation and information services to all new faculty and adjunct instructors to CMCC; facilitates the administration of student evaluations; provides support to faculty and adjuncts to include copying, shredding, aintaining mailboxes, taking messages, logging cancellations and entering on website, insuring classroom signage, entering electronic work orders and logging faculty evaluations; provides administrative support to include copier service and maintenance, back charging departments for copier use, entering electronic purchase requisitions, transferring callers to appropriate offices, interoffice mail pickup and delivery, ordering office supplies, and filing; manages calendar services for Dean, CMCC, Continuing Education and Resource Development; welcomes visitors to CMCC administrative complex, insures positive customer service; utilizes Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint to support various departmental needs for correspondence, reports, presentations, data collection and database development/maintenance; performs other duties as assigned.|
|Minimum Requirements:||Associate’s degree or equivalent clerical office employment experience. Strong technology skills to include Microsoft Office products. Experience or training in speedwriting, shorthand or similar note-taking techniques. Strong communication skills.|
