Resource Development Assistant

Hourly Rate: $13/hour
Duties: Reports to the Dean, Continuing Education, Resource Development & Continuing Education Operations; provides high level office support services for resource development, college foundation, and Cape May County Campus operations and team members; provides direct support services to the Dean, CE RD CMCC and to the Director of Major Gifts; opens resource development and foundation mail and sorts to appropriate staff member; answers department phone, greets department visitors; generates and mails donor acknowledgement letters upon batch entry of gifts; creates and enters donor records in Colleague Advancement and DonorPerfect as well as other possible database software programs; supports all foundation and committee meetings by reserving space, ordering refreshments, ensuring all meeting materials are in place, contacts board trustees via regular mail and email to announce meetings, does follow up on attendance via phone and email; files all foundation and resource development materials; archives as per foundation and college document retention and destruction policies and procedures; ensures foundation audit materials are compiled and boxed for audit purposes; handles all resource development, foundation and dean-generated mailings and ensures non-profit bulk mailings are within US Postal specifications; maintains Dean’s calendar; handles office phone calls and mail; provides support services for all foundation and college events; other tasks as required.
Minimum Requirements:High school diploma or GED. Associate Degree preferred. 3 years office support experience. Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Typing skill of 60 wpm. Good interpersonal skills and customer service attitude
Demonstrated ability to take on a variety of tasks working in a fast paced environment.
