The Twin Poets (Al & Nnamdi) are both master level social workers who utilize their art as a tool for Community engagement, empowerment and development. The Twin Poets, the 17th Poets Laureate for the State of Delaware have performed national and internationally. The brothers were the subject of the Hearts & Minds Films documentary: ”Why I Write” (2008).  The film chronicled their efforts to bring sustainable change in their home city of Wilmington, Delaware; which is one of the most dangerous cities in America.  Their "Our Work, Our Words", 2nd edition publication will be given to the first 50 Atlantic Cape students. 

Light refreshments will be available.

Throughout the month there will be featured handmade crafts and Pop-up events featuring movies, art and historical and interactive displays at each campus.

**Transportation will be provided to currently enrolled Atlantic Cape students to events (space is limited). Signup in the Student Affairs offices on the Atlantic City and Cape May campuses and the Student Engagement Office on the Mays Landing campus.
