Our Student Say It Best
Future Teacher Says Thanks
Dear Atlantic Cape Foundation,
I was both surprised and honored to receive the scholarship in the amount of $1,000 on behalf of the Cape May Endowment Scholarship. I am aware of some of the things you do for our community, particularly in support of education. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your ongoing support.
Being a mother of two young girls, and also being married, has not stopped me from obtaining the degree that I will receive next May. I hope to be able to contribute to my community with an internship at our local school district in September.
I appreciate your confidence in me and willingness to contribute to my future as an educator.
As anyone attending college knows, the costs of fees, books, materials and other expenses are daunting. The scholarship that I was awarded from you was essential in helping me to achieve my goals.
Your generosity truly makes a difference.
Sincerely,
Marjorie Schmeltzer
