Small Business Bookkeeping
Prerequisite: Candidates must obtain a reading score of 9 and math score of 9 on the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE).
Learn fundamental accounting skills, word processing and computerized bookkeeping skills using Excel and QuickBooks 2012. This Web-enhanced program will prepare you to assume a wide range of bookkeeping and assistant accounting responsibilities, including payroll, general ledger, payables and receivables. Upon successful completion, you may be eligible for up to nine college credits toward an Atlantic Cape degree. You can become certified in QuickBooks 2012, Microsoft Word 2010, Excel 2010 or Access 2010. Cost for one exam and practice test is included in fee.
Instruction will include: Word 2010, Excel 2010, Access 2010, ABCs of Accounting, QuickBooks 2012 and Resume Writing, Simulation.
