Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
Prerequisite: A+ Certification or equivalent knowledge is strongly recommended; Net+ Certification or equivalent knowledge is strongly recommended. Candidates must obtain a reading score of 10.9 and math score of 10.9 on the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE). TABE test may be waived for students possessing a college degree.
This course will prepare students to become certified for the 70-680 Windows 7 Configuration exam. It covers installing, deploying and upgrading to Windows 7, along with new Windows 7 features such as BranchCache and Home Group networking. Other topics include pre- and post-installation system settings, Windows security features and network connectivity applications.
Students will also be guided in identifying the cause and finding solutions to both desktop application and networking issues, as well as identifying the sources of and resolutions to critical security issues.
