Computer Technical Solution Series

Prerequisite: Candidates must obtain a reading score of 10 and math score of 10 on the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE). TABE test may be waived for students possessing a college degree.

The Computer Technical Solution Series (CTSS) program is designed to furnish students with the knowledge necessary to achieve the A+, Network+ and MCSA certifications. It also includes 150 hours of hands-on experience with various businesses in South Jersey. Achieving these certifications, in addition to gaining valuable business experience, represent the most important characteristics students will need to gain employment in the IT field. The CTSS program not only prepares students for certification exams, but helps students develop many necessary skill sets in a variety of core competencies needed for success in the IT world today.

This program will provide students with the requisite knowledge to achieve these certifications, through a blend of lectures, hands-on labs, assignments and projects. In addition, students will work with the latest of technologies and equipment in the classroom, including Cisco® routers and switches, Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) with RAID, and Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCI-E). This program will also provide students with two A+ test vouchers and two A+ practice tests. This program is eligible for 25 college credits on successful completion.
