Slot Technician
Prerequisite: Passing grade on the Admissions Aptitude Test
The emerging growth of the slot industry has created a great demand for trained slot technicians. The casino industry is not limited to just Atlantic City or Las Vegas; it is worldwide. Experts predict there will be a casino within a three-hour radius of any city in the U.S. Gaming is no longer limited to land-based casinos; now there are party boats, cruise lines and riverboat gambling.
These great opportunities are available for those individuals motivated to prepare for a career in the booming slot machine industry. You will receive hands-on training in the skills necessary to become a slot technician in our fully-equipped slot lab. When you meet the program’s grading requirements, you’ll serve an internship to gain practical experience.

- Applications of Electricity
- Slot Mechanical Operations
- Slot Machine Electronics
- Slot Machine Microprocessor Operations
- Slot Machine Operation and Troubleshooting
- Professional Development
- Resume Writing
- Internship
Upon successful completion of this 375-hour program, you’ll receive a certificate of completion and are ready for employment in casino hotels, on cruise ships and resorts in the United States, Europe, South America or a tropical resort island. This program is approved for veterans’ benefits. Although we cannot guarantee placement, comprehensive job search assistance will be available to every graduate. A successfully completed internship is mandatory for receiving a certificate.
