School to Careers

The School-to-Work Opportunities Act of 1994 provided seed money to States and local partnerships of business, labor, government, education, and community organizations to develop school-to-work systems. The School to Careers system allows States and their partners to prepare youth for the high wage, high skill careers of today's and tomorrow's global economy. This link offers resources, links, information on training funding sources, and other resources for students, employers, parents and training providers.

One Stop Career System

America's One-Stop System connects employment, education, and training services into a coherent network of resources at the local, state, and national level. It seeks to provide an integrated, high quality delivery system for an array of employment and training services, designed to enhance the effectiveness and coordination of employer and job-seeker services.
