Atlantic Cape Community College

Nursing Entrance Test

Students outside

Nursing students must take a Nursing Entrance Test (NET). In order to qualify for ACCC’s Nursing Program, you must achieve a score between 75 and 100 on the NET. The admission process for the Nursing Program is very competitive. Applicants are ranked according to a composite score of the prerequisite GPA and their NET score.

Policies for the NET

  • In-person registration is required for the NET. Seating is limited.  Registration will be held at the Mays Landing campus only. At the time of registration, the candidate must provide a receipt from the Business Office (Hours 9:00 - 4:30) for the non-refundable $40.00 testing fee. The Testing Office staff will not accept any money, checks, or other forms of payment.
  • To be fair, candidates may only register for one testing date** per registration. Candidates may retest ONCE per year.  This policy holds true no matter where you take the test.

  • Students must have successfully completed two prerequisites required for the nursing program before registering for the NET.
  • ON THE DAY OF THE EXAM, candidates must present photo ID (e.g. drivers license, passport, current ACCC student ID) along with another form of ID. The exam begins promptly at 8:00 a.m.  If you arrive after 8:00 a.m., you will not be permitted to take the test.  No exceptions.
