Linda L. Wohlman

Chef Educator, C.C.C.

Birthplace: Fort Dix, New Jersey

Education and training:

B.S. degree in Culinary Food Service with concentrations in On-Site Food Service Management and Beverage Service Management.

Career highlights:

Joining the ACA faculty as a full-time chef educator in 2000, Chef Wohlman shares her knowledge and former experiences as Managing Chef at Covenant House New Jersey in Atlantic City; Night Baker at Marriott Seaview Resort in Absecon, N.J.; and Morning Baker at Nina and Company, local caterer. Always maintaining her ACA affiliation, Chef Wohlman served as Per Diem Chef Educator in 1996 at the Academy.

 

During the summers, Chef Wohlman heads to the kitchens of notable restaurants to keep her skills sharp. Some of her experiences include working on the hot line at Wolfgang Puck American Grille at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, serving as head chef at Sorella Rose in Avalon, N.J., interning at the Bobolink Dairy and Backyard in Vernon, N.J., where she learned the skill of artisinal raw milk cheese making and instructor at Viking Kitchens at Harrah's Hotel in Atlantic City.
