Joseph T. Sheridan

Education and training:
B.S., Culinary Arts, Drexel University, Philadelphia; A.A.S., Academy of Culinary Arts, Atlantic Cape Community College
Chef Sheridan spent many years working in the casino and hospitality industry prior to joining the ACA faculty. He was employed at the Showboat Mardi Gras Casino in Atlantic City for 10 years initially as assistant restaurant chef, later working his way up to restaurant chef and, ultimately, executive sous chef. Prior to that, Chef Sheridan was employed as a chef, general manager, banquet manager, beverage supervisor and lounge manager at various hotels and restaurants including the Trump Marina Casino Hotel, Tropicana Casino Resort, Hilton, Marriott and Sheraton Hotel companies, Hatteras Coastal Cuisine in Somers Point and Branches Restaurant in North Branch, NJ. He also has experience with nightclub and entertainment operations, in-room dining management and purchasing, receiving and inventory control. He joined the ACA faculty in 2007.
