Birthplace: Philadelphia, Pa.

Education and training:

The Restaurant School in Philadelphia and La Varenne Ecole De Cuisine in Paris, L'Essentiel in Chambery, France, and at American Classic, also in Paris.

Career highlights:

After stints in the kitchens of upscale restaurants and hotels in Atlantic City and Philadelphia, Chef Huber turned his attention to culinary education. He has been a full-time instructor at the Academy since 1997. He still makes an annual pilgrimage to Europe to stay current on culinary trends and to work as a private chef on yachts and gastronomic barge tours in France and Italy. Because of his education and professional experience in France, and the friendships developed there, Chef Huber is ACA's liaison with European culinary institutions. In that capacity, he has arranged summer internships in restaurants in France for ACA students.
