The Academy of Culinary Arts is located on Atlantic Cape Community College's picturesque 537-acre campus in Mays Landing, N.J. It’s less than 30 minutes by car from Atlantic City, 45 minutes from Philadelphia, about two hours from New York City and an hour from historic Cape May.

Where You'll Study

The Academy of Culinary Arts, located in building M of the Mays Landing campus, features approximately 29,000 square feet of space – almost half the size of a football field. The atrium lobby leads to teaching kitchens, classrooms, Careme's gourmet restaurant, a lecture hall, our petite retail bakery “Strudels,” computer lab and administrative and faculty offices. There’s a spacious student cafeteria nearby for the time between classes. The college's library, located in D building nearby, includes an extensive collection of culinary periodicals, books and newsletters.

Attractions

Entertainment and recreation opportunities in Atlantic City range from the dazzling casino/hotels, to the famous Boardwalk and the Jersey Shore's white sand beaches. To the west, you’ll find Philadelphia with its historic landmarks and diverse neighborhoods. Near there: the city’s trendy Manayunk section and South Jersey’s “hot” Collingswood neighborhood. With New York city to the north and Cape May to the south, there’s plenty to explore.
