Area: Human Resources
Upon arrival on their first day of work, new employees report to the Human Resources Department where they receive information on college policies and procedures, are informed on the benefits program and complete forms required in their payroll processing. The employee is then escorted to the departmental supervisor for a planned schedule including introductions to co-workers, an opportunity to see the work area, and an explanation of the departmental facilities, policies and operations.
Quarterly programs are scheduled to provide a refresher "introduction" for all employees appointed during the period. The college President, and Deans attend this program and assist in welcoming employees to the college.
