Smoking

In December, 1981, Governor Kean signed the bill that took effect June 2, 1982, wherein it controls smoking in institutions providing education and training, and in June, 1989, Governor Kean signed the amendment to P.L.1981,c. 320 and established P.L.1989,c.96 effective December 14, 1989, which prohibits smoking in board of education buildings. Additionally, the New Jersey Smoke-Free Act P.L. 2009, c.182 was signed in to law effective April 15, 2006, and as amended in 2010, by Governor Codey.  The smoking of cannabis on college property is not permitted in accordance to New Jersey regulations [N.J.S.A. 24:6I-31 et seq.].

It is the intent of the College to be in compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations.
