Continuing Education Offers Financial Workshops this Fall

A proactive approach to managing personal finances is more important than ever in today’s uncertain economy. Financial workshops at Atlantic Cape Community College give practical advice, from making smart investments to retirement planning.

Retirement Planning Today™ offers practical advice on how to manage investment risks, how to save money on taxes and the saving needed today to retire comfortably in the future. Classes are at 6:30-9:30 p.m., two Wednesdays, starting Oct. 20, at the Mays Landing Campus, or 9 a.m.-noon, two Saturdays beginning Oct. 23, at the Cape May County Campus.

The Thinking Woman’s Guide to Money Matters outlines strategies and solutions for overcoming financial pitfalls and covers the psychological aspects of personal management, planning and decision-making. The class is at 6-8 p.m., Tuesdays, beginning Sept. 28, at the Cape May County Campus.

The Mays Landing Campus is at 5100 Black Horse Pike and the Cape May County Campus is at 341 Court House-South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House.
