Travel Experiences Offer Chance to Explore Flower Show, Museums and More

From a Circle Line cruise around Manhattan to the Philadelphia Flower Show, you can explore the sights and tastes of regional attractions through Atlantic Cape Community College's travel programs, coordinated and presented by Boscov's Travel. Upcoming trips include:

  • The Philadelphia Flower Show, Saturday, March 6, $70 per person. The trip includes admission to the 2010 Flower Show, the largest indoor flower show in the world. The show features acres of gardens, plants and floral designs; how-to demonstrations and lectures; live entertainment; culinary demonstrations by local celebrity chefs; and shopping.
  • Taste your way through New York City's bakeries, delis and markets, Saturday, April 17, $82 per person. This trip offers a sampling of culinary delights from a variety of food emporiums throughout the city. Just a few gourmet stops include: Zabar's, Chelsea Market, Little Italy, Dean & Deluca and more.
  • The American Museum of Natural History in New York City, Saturday, April 24, $100 per person. Admission to the museum includes a guided tour of the museum's collections, a space show at the Hayden Planetarium, an IMAX film, and reserved time for special exhibitions.
  • The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum and Circle Line Cruise of Manhattan, Saturday, June 12, $123 per person. Tour the renovated museum, which houses a world-class collection of period aircraft, artifacts and life stories of crew members. Then enjoy a cruise along three rivers, under 20 bridges and over four tunnels as you cruise by the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and other landmarks.
