Walton Named Employee of the Quarter

Atlantic Cape Community College named Connie Walton of Pleasantville the newest Employee of the Quarter.
Walton joined Atlantic Cape in September 1999 as office assistant for the Office of the Associate Dean of Instruction. She was promoted to office coordinator and then transferred to her current duties as office coordinator for Adjunct Development and Faculty Support Office.
Walton earned her associate in arts degree from Atlantic Cape. She has served as a United Way contact person, provided assistance to the Rotaract Club, Martin Luther King Program, Black History Month Program and Administrative Professionals week. She also has received Perfect Attendance awards.
In nominating Walton, coworkers specifically commended her dedication, organizational skills, level of professionalism and cheerful attitude.
The Employee of the Quarter award is presented to support staff persons who make ACCC a place where students and visitors feel comfortable and welcome. The Employee of the Quarter is someone who works hard and is also pleasant and helpful.
