Green Education Institute Continues to Grow with New Programming

The Green Education Institute at Atlantic Cape Community College offers new courses and a variety of options to receive training and certification in the latest environmental trends within the multi-billion dollar green industry.
Vegetative Green Roof Systems, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 12, is geared specifically to roofing professionals and those interested in learning about the details associated with vegetative roof systems. The course provides students with the CEUs from the National Roofing Contractors Association.
LEED Green Associate Exam Prep, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Tuesday- Thursday, Feb. 16-18, covers green design and building technologies-for new and existing structures-and prepares professionals to take the LEED Green Associate exam.
Residential Energy Audits, 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Saturday, March 20, gives participants an understanding of the skills necessary to perform energy audits. This course is intended for architects, contractors, real estate professionals or homeowners.
In-Home Energy Survey Professional, 9 a.m.-noon, four Saturdays beginning March 27, focuses on how to become a home energy survey professional.
Courses take place at the Mays Landing Campus and Mays Landing East, 5100 Black Horse Pike; the Institute for Service Excellence in the Hamilton Mall, 4403 Black Horse Pike, Mays Landing; or online.
