Academy of Culinary Arts Workshops Explore Global Cuisines

From the flavors of Casablanca and Algiers to the foods of Laos, Thailand and Vietnam, the Academy of Culinary Arts offers culinary workshops this spring that will take your taste buds on adventures into kitchens around the world.
Explore various indigenous Asian ingredients, cook items from Moroccan and North African cuisines, and enjoy the foods of Brazil's most famous festival - Carnival! The hands-on workshops are offered in the evening through the Continuing Education department at Atlantic Cape Community College.
Workshops include Carnival, Cheese and Charcuterie Tasting, Asian Cuisine and Cook it again Sam.
Additionally, the Academy is offering a "Traditions" series for people who want to learn how to recreate traditional dishes from various cultures in their own home. Participants can register for the whole series at a discount or each class individually. Workshops in the series include: Traditional New England, Traditional New Orleans, Traditional Greece, Traditional Ireland, Traditional Jewish and Traditional Italy.
All workshops are $65 per person. Workshops begin this month and are offered throughout the semester in the Academy's training kitchens at Atlantic Cape, 5100 Black Horse Pike, Mays Landing.
