Scholarships Available for Slot Tech Training; Class Begins Feb. 1

Seats are available for the next Slot Technician course beginning Feb. 1 at the Casino Career Institute at Atlantic Cape Community College. Students can register for this class to start a new career path or enhance their career potential in the gaming industry.

Up to 25 $1,000 scholarships are available for slot technology students through a donation from the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers.

As the slot industry continues to boom around the world, in land-based casinos and resorts and on cruise lines and riverboats, there is a demand for skilled repair, maintenance and operational professionals.

This comprehensive, 375-hour course and internship prepare participants for careers in this exciting field with a focus on money validation, slot mechanical operations, troubleshooting, electronics, professional development and more. The course also includes placement assistance and resume writing instruction.
