ACCC Welcomes New Basketball, Softball Coaches

July 30, 2009

Atlantic Cape Community College recently added two new coaches to its athletics program for the upcoming school year.

Harold Warner of Pleasantville was named head coach of men's basketball. Warner has more than 20 years of coaching experience at the high school and amateur level. Most recently, he was the head coach at Pleasantville High School, where 13 of his players went on to Division I and II programs. As a player, he was a first team All-American at Gannon University in Erie, Pa., in 1984 and 1985, and is the college's all-time leading scorer. Warner graduated from Gannon with a B.S. degree in Health and Human Services.

Evelyn Morozzi of Mays Landing was named head coach of women's softball. Morozzi is a former assistant softball coach at Rutgers-Newark and has extensive experience in developing softball players through her coaching clinics. She was a star player and pitcher at Montclair State University, where she is second all-time in most games started, and was in the top 10 in Division III in saves in 2001. Morozzi is a graduate of the school of Education and Human Services at Montclair.

Other coaches for 2009-10 include Mick Ebert, archery; Harold Harris, women's basketball; and Mike Rennick, men's soccer.
