The Academy of Culinary Arts Spring Open House Dates

 The Academy of Culinary Arts at Atlantic Cape Community College will host spring open house programs on Friday, April 17, 9 a.m.; Thursday, April 23, 5 p.m.; and Friday, May 8, 9:30 a.m. The open house events are open to anyone who loves to cook and is interested in beginning an exciting culinary career.

The Academy of Culinary Arts offers two-year degree programs in Culinary Arts, Food Service Management and Baking and Pastry, and is accredited by the American Culinary Federation. Students can also earn a Culinary Arts or Baking and Pastry certificate in just three semesters or complete one of four short-term specializations in less than one year. Specialization options include Baking and Pastry, Hot Food, Catering and Food Service Management.

The ACA has been educating professional chefs since 1981. Full-time classes at the Academy meet five hours a day, Monday through Friday, in morning, afternoon or evening sessions from January through May and August through December. Part-time evening classes are available.

Because the ACA is a division of a public institution, it costs considerably less than comparable two‑year cooking schools. Scholarships, work‑study opportunities and financial aid are available, including free tuition through NJ STARS.
