Atlantic City Campus to Hold Open House and Tours May 19-21

ATLANTIC CITY-To showcase its numerous upgrades and expansion, the Charles D. Worthington Atlantic City Campus of Atlantic Cape Community College (WACC) will host an open house and tours from 10-11:30 a.m. and 5-6:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, May 19-21.
Among the new features and upgrades at WACC is the Health Professions Institute, a state-of-the-art facility set to celebrate its grand opening on Thursday, May 22. This occupies approximately 5,600 square feet and includes a science lab, lecture classrooms and a computer center. Students receive comprehensive allied and auxiliary health training for a number of health care careers, such as Surgical Technician, Certified Nurse Aide, Medical Terminology, Phlebotomy, Clinical Medical Assistant and Medical Administrative Office Specialist.
Also new are the Student Center, bookstore, library, science lab, cafeteria, additional parking and redesigned Casino Career Institute, with new high-tech training programs and devices.
WACC provides a broad range of educational and related services to students, especially those who live and/or work in the Atlantic City area. Day and evening classes, tutoring, testing, advisement and financial aid for credit and continuing education programs are offered. Classes are fully accredited. There is 24-hour security and a gated parking lot.
