Safe Boating and Personal Watercraft Classes Available this Summer

Atlantic Cape Community College is offering a Safe Boating and Personal Watercraft two-day workshop. Led by Coast Boating School, the course covers basics such as rules of the road, laws and safety. This is an approved class for the mandatory certification of all individuals to operate any type of powerboat or personal watercraft.

The course is suitable for adults and children 10 years and older. All materials are included in the $65 fee. Classes are available at the Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike, and run from 7-10 p.m. Classes meet: Monday and Tuesday, June 11-12, Wednesday and Thursday, July 18-19, Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 15-16, and Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 17-18.

Those who complete the course are eligible for an insurance discount through the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA).
