Art Gallery Exhibit Features Work by Galloway Artist

March 9, 2007

Atlantic Cape Community College's Art Gallery will feature the work of Meed Barnett in an exhibit titled "Time and Seasons" through March 30. The exhibit, including paintings and drawings in watercolor, acrylic, ink, colored pencil and mixed media, is free and open to the public.

"I learned to hold a paintbrush before I could hold a fork," Barnett of Galloway said. "My grandfather, advertising artist, Rudolph Wetterau was my first teacher....If I like a subject, a medium, a found object, in spontaneous combination it, or they, will find a way into my work. My studio is a glorious expanding shambles of objects and supplies awaiting use."

The ACCC Art Gallery is on the Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike, adjacent to the theater in C-building (C-125).  Visitors use parking lot 3.
