Leaves for Learning Campaign Raises $71,000 for New Campus; Giving Opportunities Still Available
September 1, 2005Cape May County residents and businesses along with college staff and supporters have shown their enthusiasm for ACCC’s new campus by donating more than $71,000 to the Leaves for Learning campaign. The Leaves for Learning Donor Display Wall at the new Cape May County campus permanently recognize donors.
Donations provided trees, shrubs and other plantings for the new Cape May County campus that add to students’ overall educational experience. A $25,000 donation from Cape Savings Bank jump-started the Leaves for Learning initiative in May 2004. Other major donors include the Barber Milcarsky Group of Stone Harbor and Kindle Ford Mercury Dodge Inc. of Cape May Court House, who each purchased a $2,500 silver acorn. Additionally, the ACCC Foundation underwrote the cost of the donor wall so all donations go directly toward campus beautification.
You can still add your name to the Leaves for Learning tree by making a donation at one of these levels: Gold Acorn, $5,000; Silver Acorn, $2,500; Platinum Leaf, $1,000; Gold Leaf, $500; Silver Leaf, $250; Bronze Leaf, $100; and Friends of ACCC, $65-$99.
