Casino Career Institute Introduces Surveillance Training
February 7, 2007
The Casino Career Institute at Atlantic Cape Community College will begin offering casino surveillance training this spring at its Atlantic City location, 1525 Bacharach Blvd.
This new course is designed to acquaint students with many aspects of table games and slot machine operations. The training will enable students to detect cheating and illegal procedures on the casino floor. Students will also receive an orientation to several table games and different types of slot machines and their components.
The intensive 92-hour training program will provide an introduction to Casino Control Commission regulations, game irregularities, game protection, and recognizing potential and alleged cheats.
Anyone interested in applying for a surveillance position at one of Atlantic City's casinos and incumbent casino employees interested in pursuing career advancement are encouraged to apply.
