Academy of Culinary Arts Offers 10th Annual Nouveau Wine Tasting Nov. 17

At one minute past midnight on the third Thursday of each November, more than one million cases of Beaujolais Nouveau, the newest wine from the Beaujolais region of France, begin a journey to all parts of the world.

Wine enthusiasts can celebrate the release of several nouveau wines at 6:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 17, at Careme's, the gourmet, student-run restaurant of the Academy of Culinary Arts at Atlantic Cape Community College. In conjunction with the local chapter of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, the Academy offers a limited number of tickets to this celebration where guests will be treated to authentic French country food and tantalizing desserts prepared and served by ACA students in the Academy's kitchens under the guidance of Chef Educator Michael Huber.

Nouveau wines from several different producers will be available for tasting, and participants can vote for their favorite.
