ACA Brings Back Original Restaurant Menu, Prices to Celebrate 25th Anniversary
September 20, 2006The Academy of Culinary Arts is celebrating 25 years of training professional chefs and will feature the same menus and prices at Careme’s, the student-run gourmet restaurant, from its first year of operation in 1981 at four special dinners this fall. Careme’s is located at the Academy at Atlantic Cape Community College’s Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike.
On Oct. 6, Oct. 20, Nov. 3 and Dec. 8, all Fridays, patrons can dine at Careme’s and enjoy a seven-course meal featuring gourmet dishes like roasted rack of lamb, medallions of veal stuffed with crab meat, roasted pheasant, and sautéed soft shell crabs, all for $27.50.

The Academy offers personalized, high-quality training at a low cost. The price of the program is considerably lower than that of comparable cooking schools. Financial aid, grants, scholarships and loans are also available.
