‘Taste of the Gala’ Cooking Demonstration Planned for Oct. 5
September 18, 2006Enjoy the culinary delights of chefs from local restaurants and the Academy of Culinary Arts at “Taste of the Gala,” a cooking demonstration and wine tasting held from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 5, at the Academy at Atlantic Cape Community College, 5100 Black Horse Pike, Mays Landing. Local restaurant chefs, including Eugen Ess, executive pastry chef at Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort, and the internationally trained chef educators at the ACA will demonstrate their original recipes. Tickets are $30 a person and reservations are required. Proceeds benefit the ACA through the ACCC Foundation. This is the first of three cooking demonstrations leading up to the March 7, 2007, The Press of Atlantic City Restaurant Gala. Additional “Tastes” will be held Nov. 2 and Feb. 1.
