Senior Adults Can Register Tuition-Free at ACCC’s Cape May County Campus

August 25, 2006

Cape May County residents age 60 and older can take credit courses at Atlantic Cape Community College tuition-free through the Senior Adults Gaining Education and Stimulation program this fall.

Registration is on a space-available basis in person from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Friday, Sept. 1, only. Fall classes begin Tuesday, Sept. 5.

Membership to SAGES is free, and forms are available at the Cape May County Campus, 341 Court House-South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House. As a member of SAGES, a senior adult may enroll tuition-free in credit courses when space is available. Although tuition and most fees are waived, any senior adult taking a college-credit course will be assessed a general fee per credit hour, a one-time application fee for those attending ACCC for the first time, plus any special fees applying to specific courses.

ACCC will offer more than 100 course sections in Cape May County, including business, computers, English, math, philosophy, sociology, speech, theater and more.
