August 23, 2006From computer and medical career training to financial workshops and piano lessons, Atlantic Cape Community College will offer nearly 50 Continuing Education courses in September.
Career training includes: Medical Administrative Office Specialist, Medical Billing and Coding Specialist Certificate Program, Office Assistant and Technology Specialist, A+ Certification, and Network+ Certification.
Health Professions Institute training includes: Medical Terminology, Phlebotomy, Clinical Medical Assistant, and Medical Administrative Office Specialist.
Computer courses include: Introduction to Windows XP, Introduction to Personal/Business Computers, Windows Multimedia Tools, Using the Internet, Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0, Introduction to Word 2003, ABCs of Accounting: Understanding Debits & Credits, Studio 8, Introduction to Dreamweaver and Fireworks 8, Introduction to the Personal Computer for Senior Citizens, and Adobe Photoshop CS II.
Professional development training includes: Construction Official, Building Inspector R.C.S. Part I, Building Inspector I.C.S. Part I, Building Inspector I.C.S. Part II, NJ Real Estate Broker License Course, QuickBooks for Accountants, and Personal Trainer Certification.
Personal development workshops include: Basic Floral Design, House Portraits, Beginning Piano, Introduction to Italian Opera, Basic Belly Dancing, Latin Dancing, Strictly Ballroom, Swing Dancing, Whodunit? An Introduction to Forensic Science, Appreciating Antiques, Sign Language, Conversational Italian, Beginning Spanish, Yoga for Seniors, Beginners Bridge, Cherished Heirlooms and Curious Finds, Basic Knife Skills, Bread Basics, and Stocks and Sauces.
Classes will be held in three locations, including: ACCC’s Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike; the Charles D. Worthington Atlantic City Center, 1535 Bacharach Blvd.; and the Cape May County Campus, 341 Court House-South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House.
