Casino Career Institute Offers New Gaming Training this Spring

The Casino Career Institute at Atlantic Cape Community College has prepared more than 50,000 people for rewarding careers in gaming and continues to offer top-notch training for those who wish to enter the expanding casino profession.

If you are interested in a fast entry to a career in table games, CCI is offering quick-start courses in Blackjack, Roulette or Baccarat. The four-week courses teach the fundamentals and emphasize game knowledge, chip value and card handling. New sections begin weekly, and online registration is available at

Classes also begin monthly in a variety of table games, including: Blackjack, Craps, Baccarat, Poker and Tournament Play, Pai Gow Tiles, Roulette, Pai Gow Poker and Carnival Games.

Entertainment Dealer—Blackjack provides experienced Blackjack dealers with the skills to transition to an entertainment dealer. Topics include game procedure, game protection, personal presentation and customer service. Classes begin Tuesday, March 18.

Introduction to Electronic Table Games with i-Table Blackjack translates students’ traditional skills to the new electronic environment, beginning Monday, April 14.

Introduction to Electronic Table Games with i-Table Roulette prepares current dealers to handle chips, electronic chips and pay bets electronically, beginning Tuesday, May 6.

CCI table games alumni can revive their skills as they return to the gaming workforce with an Alumni Refresher Program. Graduates may take the refresher program course only for the games they previously have taken with CCI at 50 percent of the fee.

Alumni who have graduated from CCI within the last three years can refresh their skills with the Alumni Practice Program for a $15 annual fee.
