ACCC Course Offers Basic Computer Training
August 14, 2006If you are interested in learning to use a computer but are not sure where to begin, Atlantic Cape Community College will offer a one-credit introductory course this fall at its Cape May County Campus.
Computer Fundamentals-Windows, CISM102, is designed for individuals with no prior knowledge of computer operations. The course meets Tuesdays beginning Sept. 5 from 8:30 a.m.-9:20 a.m.
Students will learn introductory skills such as navigating the desktop and folder hierarchy, simple word processing and drawing, and browsing the Internet.
Register in-person weekdays from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Cape May County Campus, 341 Court House-South Dennis Road. The college is closed on Friday, Aug. 18. Students can also register by mail or fax or online through Friday, Sept. 1.
