Careme's Restaurant to Feature Mini Buffet Lunch Special Oct. 31 and Nov. 1

Academy of Culinary Arts students and chef educators will prepare a mini buffet lunch special in Careme's Restaurant for $8.95 per person (plus tax and gratuity), Thursday, Oct. 31 and Friday, Nov. 1. The mini buffet will feature soup, a variety of salads, three entrees and dessert.

Careme’s, located at Atlantic Cape's Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike, offers a fine dining experience that’s unique in South Jersey. The restaurant is open Monday-Friday, August-December and January-May, when classes are in session. Guests are seated for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover are accepted. For reservations, call (609) 343-4940.

The restaurant is named after the first “celebrity chef” in culinary history, Marie-Antoine Careme. Careme’s command of culinary art was so famous in the early 19th century that he became known as “the chef of kings and the king of chefs.”
