Art Handler’s ‘Thanksgiving Live!’ Cooking Presentation to Benefit Academy of Culinary Arts Students

Prepare for the holidays with Thanksgiving Live! cooking demonstration presented by culinary experts from the Academy of Culinary Arts, 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 7, at Art Handler’s Appliance and Mattress Center, 10 Black Horse Pike, in Pleasantville.
The two-hour demonstration will teach participants how to prepare a three-course Thanksgiving meal, featuring autumnal appetizers, an entrée and a dessert.
Appetizers: corn cakes with turkey confit and cranberry marmalade, stuffed mushroom with root vegetable duxelle
Entrée: turkey breast roulade, bread stuffing and gravy
Dessert: roasted pumpkin cheesecake
Participants will have an opportunity to sample the dishes and learn how to pair them with complementary wines.
