Atlantic Cape to Offer Computers and Technology Career Training and Workshops

Learn about the world of computers with Atlantic Cape Community College’s computers, technology and IT certifications.

Network Administration will equip IT professionals with the fundamentals and skills needed for success in the industry, including: how to install, configure, secure and maintain network environments using the Microsoft and Cisco technologies, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, beginning Nov. 4.

CompTIA Cloud Essentials will provide students with a strong understanding of cloud technologies and processes, and prepare them for the CompTIA Cloud Essentials certification, Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning Nov. 5.

Microsoft Project 2010 will teach participants how to enhance a project planning process. The software can help one schedule and manage resources, while tracking costs, deadlines and timelines, Mondays and Wednesdays, beginning Nov. 11.

PowerPoint 2013 for Business Presentations will explore PowerPoint basics, including how to create, design and deliver powerful presentations using the following tools: formatting text and objects, working with graphics and drawing tools, creating slide masters and more, two sections, beginning Nov. 11 and 12.

Leveraging Social Media to Attract New Customers will show participants how to incorporate social networking in their business to enhance their communication and follow up with potential customers and existing contacts, Dec. 11.

Other valuable technology courses offered include: Advanced Dreamweaver CS5, Adobe Illustrator CS5 Parts 1 and 2, Adobe InDesign CS5, Adobe Flash CS5, Cisco Certified Network Associate, CloudOn/Dropbod/Skydrive Demo and IPv6 Fundamentals.

Computers, technology and IT certifications courses will be offered at the Mays Landing Campus, 5100 Black Horse Pike, Building T; and the Cape May County Campus, 341 Court House-South Dennis Road, in Cape May Court House.
