Atlantic Cape Offers Professional Development Workshops

Atlantic Cape Community College will offer a variety of professional development workshops this summer for individuals interested in enhancing their skill sets and advancing their careers.
Personal Trainer Certification Phase II will assist those already certified as Personal Fitness Trainers in working with special populations, including children and those suffering from diabetes, cardiovascular disease and obesity, Saturday, July 13.
Sports Nutrition Consultant Certification will teach participants how to design a diet plan for themselves and for clients. Topics include sports specific diets, principles and foundations of nutrition, nutrition and energetics and athletic performance, Saturday, July 27.
The Artistry of Innovation: Problem Solving in Action offers participants an opportunity to practice creative thinking skills by engaging in hands-on exercises and address strategies to increase their creative output, two sections beginning July 10 and Aug. 14.
Building Inspector R.C.S. is designed to satisfy the requirements for licensure as an R.C.S., and includes laboratory and field experience, classes begin Sept. 9.
Other professional development workshops offered this summer are Algebra I, Algebra II and College Algebra. Classes begin in August.
