Last Chance to Register for the June 27 Green Credentials Matter Conference at Atlantic Cape

Time is running out to register for Atlantic Cape Community College’s Green Credentials Matter Conference, 8 a.m.-noon, Thursday, June 27, at the Walter Edge Theater, C-Building, 5100 Black Horse Pike, in Mays Landing.
Industry experts will discuss how professionals can become certified under new energy efficiency and sustainability regulations as they relate to retrofitting, repairing and rebuilding homes affected by Hurricane Sandy.
Conference speakers include: Timothy Lizura, president and COO, New Jersey Economic Development Authority; Jean McAlister, associate dean of Continuing Education at Atlantic Cape; Ben Goldstein, energy efficiency workforce development coordinator, U.S. Department of Energy; Patricia Fenn, executive director of e-learning and continuing and professional education at Ocean County College; Darren Port, green building administrator, New Jersey Department of Community Affairs; Walter Yakabosky, director of training, Energy Coordinating Agency; Michelle Nochisaki, program design coordinator, Building Performance Institute; and Laure-Jeanne Davignon, credentialing program director, Interstate Renewable Energy Council.
A networking session with a continental breakfast will kick off the event. Participants will also have an opportunity to explore green vendor tables and exhibits.
